Beaded Trim......Size Large

Description: Fantastic 40's wiggle dress and bolero jacket from Petty Hite Fashion. The lovely sage green material appears to be a cotton linen or blend. There are no size tags so please see measurements below to ensure a proper fit. It measures large.

The wiggle style dress features a princess/square neckline with white piping trim, cap sleeves, bust darts from the side seams and waist, darts along the waistline on the upper and lower dress, thread loops at the sides for a detached belt which is not included, inside pinked seams, a light green cotton lining on the front of the skirt, a kick-back pleat, and a back metal zipper with hook and thread eye for closures. The upper bodice features scallops of white lace with tiny and medium sized white beads.

The matching bolero jacket features an open front with no closures, light green cotton lining on the front, gusset under the arm, short sleeves and matching lace and bead trim on the ends of the collar.

Measurements: Dress: Shoulder to shoulder 21 1/2 inches, Underarm to underarm 21 inches, Bust approx 38 comfortably...possibly 40, Shoulder to Waist approx 16 1/2 inches, Side of waist to side of waist 17 1/2 inches, Side of hips to side of hips approx 22 inches, and Back of neck to bottom hem 39 inches with a 1 1/2 inch hem.
Jacket: There are no shoulder seams, Underarm to underarm approx 22 inches, and Back of neck to bottom hem 16 inches.

Condition: Dress: Very good with only minor issues. There are a few teeny pin pricks which are barely noticeable on the front and a very small spot on the back. The lace trim appears to be just a tad yellowed along the upper edge. The beads are all intact and secure.
Jacket: There is a 1/2 hole at the top of the right shoulder and two smaller holes next to it (see closeup photo). There is also a stain in the same area along with some staining on the back of the collar. The lace is secure and the beads are intact and secure.
